The Historic Tomahawk, built in 1921, has been recently renovated to include modern conveniences while maintaining elements of historic charm. It features commercial shops on the ground floor, business suites on the second floor, and 9 short-term/extended-stay residential suites on the third floor.
"Thank you for such a lovely stay! 10/10 this will always be our stopping point when coming through Green River!"
"We have traveled for over 2 weeks, from IL to WA to OR and heading back. This place was a respite!! We love the spirit and character of the town, and especially this hotel. The room was perfect for us."
"Definitely one the best rooms we have ever stayed in. That includes several 5-star hotels. I wish every hotel we stay at is this large and beautiful."
"We booked this hotel last minute and I’m so glad we did. Our newly renovated room was nice and modern. The bed was comfortable and the shower was so nice after 8 hours on a motorcycle. Bad Ass Brews is just below the hotel and the food and drinks were great! We stayed in the Railroad room and had a great view of the rail station and rail yard from the bedroom."
"Amy and the team have done a great job in creating a luxury experience while preserving the history of this 120 year old building. The room was spacious, everything was clean, bed was incredibly comfortable, and there was a Nespresso machine for espresso and coffee in the morning. There is a full fridge, oven, and microwave in the kitchen area in addition to the spacious bathroom and bedroom. Whether you are looking for a one-night, weekend, or extended stay, this is a wonderful place to do so."
"To begin, EVERYTHING about this place is fantastic!
First, the owners have managed to retain the unique, vintage feel of this historic building while also ensuring they provide top-of-the-line amenities. The styling of this AirBnb is absolutely beautiful & creates a cozy, vintage vibe.
Amy has also provided just about anything you’ll need. The kitchen is stocked with every cooking tool you could possibly need. In the bathroom, they provide amazing smelling hair and body products. The roomy bedroom has a very comfortable bed & pillows, & all the storage space invites you to make yourself at home no matter how long your stay.
The area around the hotel is also fun to explore. We ate at the brewery below the hotel & could not have asked for a better meal or a friendlier atmosphere. We also enjoyed exploring the unique nearby shops & seeing what this part of Wyoming has to offer.
What Amy has done to this hotel truly makes it a must-visit destination. We can’t wait to stay here again!"
